The July 6 show will focus on the unique role of the media in protecting the rule of law. Guests will include Maine journalists Lisa DeSisto and Judy Meyer and Maine media lawyer Sig Schutz. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Thursday, September 10, at USM\u2019s Hannaford Hall, Portland<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Speaker: bestselling author Andrew Weissmann, who has served as lead prosecutor in Robert Mueller\u2019s Special Counsel\u2019s Office; Chief of DOJ\u2019s Fraud Section; and General Counsel for the FBI. He is co-host of the popular podcast Main Justice and is a frequent contributor to <em>MS NOW<\/em>, <em>NY Times<\/em>, <em>The Atlantic<\/em>, and <em>Washington Post<\/em>. He is also a best-selling author, having just released <em>Liar\u2019s Kingdom<\/em>.
